Selangor Zakat Board targets over RM200 mln in property, fitrah tithe collection this Ramadan

SHAH ALAM, March 12 — The Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) is targeting to collect RM208 million in tithe contributions this Ramadan, including RM163 million from property tithe (zakat harta) and RM45 million from fitrah tithe (zakat fitrah).

GISBH, subsidiaries never pay tithe — LZS

SHAH ALAM, Sept 28 — The Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) has confirmed that it had never received any kind of zakat payment from Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holding Sdn Bhd (GISBH) or its subsidiaries.
